Terms of service

These terms are between you and Kyzo Studios, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 81481195, at Spuikreek 177, 3079 AG Rotterdam, the Netherlands (“we”). They cover the Gildi Discord bot, its dashboard and its public pages. By adding Gildi to a server or signing in, you agree to them. If you add Gildi on behalf of a community or company, you agree for it too.

Using Gildi

You must be old enough to use Discord, and you must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Gildi needs the Discord permissions its modules use. You’re responsible for how your server sets it up and who you give dashboard access to.

What you may not do

• use Gildi to harass people, send spam, or break the law or Discord’s rules
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service
• use Gildi to run gambling or games of chance for money
• resell Gildi, or pretend to be us or that we endorse you

We may limit or stop Gildi in a server that does, and we’ll tell the owner when we reasonably can.

Your content

What you and your members put into Gildi stays yours: messages, flows, forms, images and settings. You give us permission to store and process it only as far as we need to run Gildi. You’re responsible for having the right to use it. Our privacy policy says what we store and for how long.

Our content

The Gildi name, logo, mascots and software are ours. The emoji pack is free to use in your own Discord server. Please don’t sell it or use it as your own brand.

Free and paid plans

Every module is free. Plus and Pro are paid plans with higher limits and extras, and each one applies to one server. They’re shown on the Premium page, which also has the current prices.

Paid plans are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record, under Paddle’s buyer terms. Paddle handles payment, tax and invoices. If you buy through Discord’s store once it’s enabled, Discord’s terms apply to that purchase.

Subscriptions renew each month or year until they’re cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. If a payment fails and isn’t fixed, the server goes back to Free. Our refund policy explains refunds.

When a price changes, we’ll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies. When a server moves to a lower plan, whatever is over the new limits pauses, and older logs and transcripts are hidden for 30 days and then deleted. The plan change page shows this for your server first.

Custom bots

On Pro you can run Gildi under your own Discord application. You give us its token to run it, which we store encrypted, and you’re responsible for that application and for following Discord’s rules for it.

Availability

We work hard to keep Gildi running, but we don’t promise it’ll always be available or free of mistakes. It depends on Discord and other services we don’t control. Features can change. If we remove something a paid plan clearly promised, we’ll offer a fair way out. Don’t rely on Gildi as your only copy of anything important.

Ending things

You can stop at any time by removing Gildi from your server and cancelling any plan. We may end the service, or your access to it, with reasonable notice, or straight away for serious breaches of these terms. If we end the service with no fault of yours, we’ll refund the unused part of what you paid.

Liability

Gildi is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost members, lost data or lost income, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if that’s more. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or liability that can’t legally be limited.

Gildi isn’t made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above. If a change matters, we’ll say so at least 14 days ahead, and you can stop using Gildi if you don’t agree. These terms fall under the law of the Netherlands, and disputes go to its courts, unless your own country’s consumer law says otherwise.
